Scrapbooks etc. is partnering with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to hold the 3rd Annual “Scrap Pink” fundraising campaign in September 2009 at independent retail stores across North America.
The campaign will culminate in an exciting on-site crop hosted by each participating shop the weekend of September 26-27, 2009. Scrapbookers are invited to enjoy a fun-filled event at their local scrapbook shop! Scrapbookers all across the nation will come together to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
Ten dollars of your crop fee will support Komen for the Cure®’s promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energizing science to find the cures.

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.
In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Scrappin’ In The Streetcar (SITS)
We’re a group of fantastic scrappin’ ladies currently active in our meetup group called Scrappin’ In The Streetcar. We meet several times a month at several different locations throughout Jefferson and Orleans Parishes to scrap away with great friends. These locations vary from River Ridge to Metairie to New Orleans to the West Bank and of course anywhere and everywhere depending on our members. This group belongs to and thrives on its members, so we encourage creativity, activity, and new ideas!
There are no annual membership dues. That’s right, it’s FREE to be a member.
